A deep dive or a deep fake?
When I first stumbled across “word salad” about Ukraine’s invasion by someone under a pen name Jessica Wildfire, I knew nothing about Jessica. I must confess I rarely read on Medium, go ahead cancel Joy Ride.
Jessica’s article named “Vladimir Putin has already won. But nobody wants to admit it.” caught my eye, and it sounded utter gibberish.
I am following Ukraine’s crisis closely to be well informed on the issue. I wrote a brief article, “What is wrong with Wildfire? And Putin’s rule.” arguing all of the points she made as respectfully as possible.
I must admit. I was wrong.
Jessica Wildfire writing deserves much more attention.
In her own words, Jessica is a slightly disenchanted college professor (presumably unemployed).
